Exceptionally this year, the Family Festival will take place at the alpine pasture, on the occasion of the Laurenti family’s final day in their establishment.
On August 15th, from 10:30am to 5pm, Chez Simon in La Tzoumaz will experience a special day: the last day of operation of the restaurant under the Laurenti Family. For the occasion, the traditional Fête des Familles (Family Festival), usually held at the Place Centrale, will exceptionally be relocated to Chez Simon, to celebrate together this closing chapter in a festive and convivial atmosphere.
A free shuttle bus will be available between the Taillay parking lot and Chez Simon, following the same system as during the National Day celebrations on August 1st, to make access to the site easier.
Program:
Morning: festive atmosphere with the Music-Hall band from Vétroz
2pm to 5pm: recreational Fête des Familles afternoon, with Mistigri the clown, Sandrine, airbrush face painter, and a bouncy castle for children
Afternoon: performance by Jay Follo
All day: convivial grill party on site
A slideshow retracing the restaurant's evolution over the years, in tribute to the Laurenti Family's journey
A guestbook available for leaving a word or a memory for the family
Closing speech by Christophe Laurenti to mark this symbolic day
