Lac des Vaux

Perched at an altitude of 2,543 metres, Lac des Vaux welcomes walkers, anglers and even the most daring swimmers! Situated in the hills above La Tzoumaz and Verbier, it can be reached in an hour and a half’s walk from the Croix-de-Coeur mountain restaurant. If you follow the Grand Tour du Lac des Vaux route, starting from the Savoleyres cable car, you’ll also have the chance to explore the Vallon d’Arbi and its protected natural area before heading back down to the village of La Tzoumaz. Angling enthusiasts are welcome at this unique spot and can obtain a licence fromthe tourist office from June onwards. With its blue waters and lush green pastures, this spot has something for everyone!
