Saxon Bisse

Deeply rooted in the heritage of Valais, the bisses are a must-see during your visit to our region. Built between 1865 and 1876, the Bisse de Saxon, which runs through La Tzoumaz, is the longest in Valais, with a total length of 32 km. For a complete immersion in the great outdoors, follow a section of the path to walk through the forests or visit the surrounding villages. Combine a walk with some leisure time by following the Sentier des Sens, which runs partly along the route of the Bisse de Saxon, or take a break at our Marteau picnic area.
