No, it is not possible to exchange currency in La Tzoumaz. To exchange currency, you can go to the Raiffeisen branch in Verbier or the counter at Martigny CFF station.

Yes, but not just anywhere. We have a winter walk that’s signposted and safe. The walk is suitable for the whole family and takes 40 minutes.

On Wednesday evenings, you can go night ski touring; the ski area is open only on Wednesdays from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm, subject to weather conditions. It is important to follow the marked route.

From Riddes SBB station, you’ll need to walk to the cable car (TRI) station, which takes you up to the lovely village of Isérables, and then take a PostBus to La Tzoumaz. You can find the SBB and PostBus timetables here.

No, but there are two doctors in Riddes (20 minutes from La Tzoumaz); there is a medical centre in Verbier, as well as an emergency medical centre in Martigny called Vigimed.

The nearest chemists are in Riddes and Verbier. Basic medicines are available at the La Tzoumaz Market.

When you stay in La Tzoumaz, you are required to pay the tourist tax. You can only benefit from the VIP PASS once this has been paid.

If you book through an agency: the agency will collect the tax directly after you’ve checked in and will send you the VIP PASSes by email

If booking with a private let: you must report to the Tourist Office and pay the tax. You will then be issued with your VIP PASSes.
If the tourist tax is included in the rental price, please bring proof of payment with you.

For registration, we must have the name of the owner of the rented accommodation, the name of the accommodation in question, and the surnames, first names and dates of birth of all persons staying in the accommodation.

If you are not paying rent, are a guest or are a close family member of the owner, you must state this.
