The Trail of the Senses is a fun and learning walk that forms a 2.7 km loop in the forest of La Tzoumaz where you can discover nature through the 5 senses quiz.
The House of the Forest
The House of the Forest is the starting point of the trail. Situated on the heights of the Rhône valley, the House of the Forest is a café like no other. Before, the two cabins were used by shepherds. When the irrigation canal (bisse) was cleaned up the two cabins where restored and turned in to a welcoming café open since 2011. There are also fun exhibitions on local animals and birds, local produce, and different activities nature oriented, that you can do on your own or as a family.
Outdoors: garden with medicinal plants, bouncy seats for children, observation tower
The trail of the Senses can be followed by everyone. This walk has been adapted to make it easily accessible to people with impaired mobility, impaired sight and prams.
