Discover treasures of an amazing soil

The Vallée du Rhône, cradled by a generous sun, is particularly fertile. Fruits and vegetables grow in its soils, the quality of which makes the biggest tables in Switzerland delight. Among the plethora of varieties growing between the mountains the most famous are apricots, asparagus, strawberries, apples and vines.

The Valais, with its 5’000 hectares of vineyards, is the most important wine region in Switzerland. Petite Arvine, Cornalin, Fendant, Païen or Heida, the winegrowers from Valais harvest the fruit of more than 60 different grape varieties.

Farmers in the Riddes-La Tzoumaz region are ambassadors of the wealth of the Valais region. Through several agri- and wine-tourism experiences, they open their doors and share their passion with you.
